HOW TO INSTRUCT US

STEP 1 - PLEASE E-MAIL THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO
info@johnpughschambers.co.uk

Your name, address and phone number;

A summary of the relevant circumstances;
-
What you would like counsel to do for you; and
-
Any relevant time limits within which you need
the work; or
-
If you require Mr Pugh’s attendance at Court
please state the date of the hearing and the
Court concerned.
STEP 2 - JOHN PUGH WILL READ YOUR E-MAIL AND:

Either accept or decline your instructions;
-
If declined he will
state his reasons;
-
If accepted, he will send you a client care
letter, in the form required by the Public
Access Regulations 2004. This will include a
statement of the time within which he can
undertake the work required and a written fee
quotation based on the information you have
given.
STEP 3 - SIGN AND RETURN A COPY OF YOUR CLIENT CARE
LETTER ENCLOSING:

Your cheque for the agreed fee,
-
Photocopies of your relevant case documents,
-
If requested, your passport or driving licence &
2 recent utility bills (which we will copy and
return immediately). This latter requirement is
imposed by the Money Laundering Act law when
your case involves an agreement for more than
£10,000.
STEP 4 - ON CLEARANCE OF YOUR CHEQUE YOUR PAPERS
ARE RELEASED TO JOHN PUGH WHO WILL

E-mail or telephone you if he needs more
information.

Complete and deliver your advice and/or
documents by e-mail.

If you require Mr Pugh’s attendance at Court
telephone you to arrange a pre trial conference.
If
you require more information telephone 0151 236 5415
and speak to Eileen Ashton, Practice Manager or
Suzanne Thomas, Administrator.
